Referencing in Your Discipline

Referencing is a consistent method of acknowledging another person's ideas, which you have used in your own writing. There are many acceptable forms of referencing and specific referencing styles are used in some subject areas. In this workshop, you will learn about some of the common author-date and notational referencing styles and how to use them in your assignments. At the end of the workshop, you will understand why it is important to reference and how to do it well.
